Nice clip Spaz! Makes we want to go karting again.
I arrived in Sweden last night. Near stockholm at the moment but going north in a week and a bit.
it is 330pm and its dark! its snowing though…again! theres nearly 50cm in the backyard, its only minus 1 though.
Im going to check out a few of the local little resorts in the next week. will probably put up some vids if i can get any footage worth watching.

Spent yesterday recovering from our padding trip.

I wonder how K2 is going paddling? he was heading up near Falls Creek again wasn’t he?
Would’ve bloody freezing up there yesterday.
Yeh man it was absolutely freezing! Friday we paddled the West Kiewa River. We had to hike 8kms to the river with boats and all our gear on our back. The river was so could. It felt like glacier melt.
Pretty awesome day on the river. Got some gopro footage and photos. once i get photos off everyone ill put together a little clip.
I didnt paddle saturday but three of us did the upper east kiewa. I made a good call not to paddle, as i had no energy left form the friday, a stuffed ankle and the river was epic! Continous grade 4+ creeking with some grade 5s in there too. Took bout 6hrs to travel about 2km down the river it was that steep and technical. So i was the shuttle driver and emergency contact for the day. Just chilled at Mt Beauty and Bogong village for the day.
Spaz that karting clip is cool. I like how you have made use of the footage where the camera has dismounted and gone all crazy too!

Mum drove Mizu, and stepdad drove home (since I broke mum’s ribs and all). I later drove the spazmobile to the shops on an alcohol run and well…. it accelerates faster than those carts and with the suspension setup isn’t much different in handling, my thoughts during this drive were that my68vw is a road registered GoCart!!!! - with enough room for stereo, passengers, bed, surfboard, editing suit, retail outlet…. GOD I LOVE MY CAR (even more than Jane’s accent/language)
The carts are 6hp and (I don’t know) 100kg, single gear.
MY68VW +100hp (80hp atw) and 750kg, 4 speed.
Can’t be bothered doing the math, got some Xmas spirits in me

I did use some of the footage twice, so it matched the music (the clip of the cam being dislodged). It fumbled around under the cart for three laps. And most if it was as good as what I used, just a little boring.

Tja! Jag ar i Uppsala faktiskt….jag trodde at ingen har ska forstar mig om jag sagar sa. forlat att min svenska ar sa daligt, jag glommer sa mycket nu, men jag vill provar iaf.
jag tankt att aka i hammarby backen igor, men jag vet inte om det ar sa bra, tva dag sen vi var pa sunnersta backen i Uppsala, varldens minsta backe! det var jatte roligt iaf! jag vill aka till kungsberget den har vecka om nan vill gor det….och sen jag ska aka till Ostersund/Are och traffa manga vanner.
jag har inte varit i taby, men jag vet vart det ligger. var aka du snowboard dar?

aah okej, haha jag har aldrig ens hört talats om Sunnerstabacken, så jag antar att den är jävligt liten jag och ett gäng polare har tänkt dra upp till Kungsberget över dagen om typ två veckor, så sjukt jobbigt att alla jobbar olika tider så ingen är ledig samtidigt 
aaah jag vill också till Åre :( akta dig för att dricka vattnet i Östersund bara, jag antar att du hört om alla som blivit sjuka där? haha

But you lose a lot of ponies in the delivery of the power to the road, what with all the drivetrains and pollution converters even in an impreza. I’m pretty sure the engineering of having the wheels driven directly from the gearbox results in a more spirited ride for me.
If I recall right Subies have about 30hp/wheel. (great car though)
