Bust or Bail: Cinco de Slammo

by

Every hammer and slam from the SD Arena

Thrasher's latest Bust or Bail event took place at the infamous San Diego Arena, known predominantly for its hefty double set and monstrous triple set. The double has seen some tricks over the years, but prior to the Cinco de Slammo, Jeremy Wray's ollie was the only trick that had ever been successfully thrown down the triple – way back in 1999.

Wray's ollie was obviously landed without the assistance of a giant quarter-pipe for gaining speed, and without the luxury of permits allowing him to skate, but the tricks in this video are still undeniably amazing. Chris Joslin threw down arguably the best tricks of the day, nailing a 360 flip and backside bigspin down the triple, while the likes of Tommy Sandoval, Cyril Jackson, and Ryan Decenzo also claimed tricks down the triple. Shane O'Neill took a heavy slam attempting a mind-blowing switch flip... watch the video above for all the highlights.
