While the Northern Hemisphere was haunted by thunderstorms, long nights and cold temperatures, Nixon’s William Aliotti caught some great waves in sunny Tahiti. The 19-year-old from St. Martin has developed some killer air skills during the past years, scored solid results on the WQS and already managed to pocket two invitations to the Nixon Surf Challenge being the youngest surfer on the team.
The trip in company of fellow Frenchies Maud LeCar and Joan Duru was William’s first time in Tahiti where he was lucky enough to score Teahupoo – usually known as the bone and board breaking monster – in glassy perfection. A young gun living every surfer’s dream – we recommend you to keep an eye on him in the future.
