The Dew Tour has certainly taken a back seat in recent years, particularly with the emergence of Street League. But the tighter, lower key events have actually made for some of the best ever – the crowd might not be as big, the courses are smaller, but the skateboarding is arguably at its peak, more laid-back and free-flowing. Ryan Sheckler is no stranger to winning Dew Tour events, and his win in Long Beach yesterday extended his record to 15 overall. Watch his full highlights here – we'll update when the complete highlight reel drops, so stay tuned.
The event was also notable for the return of Sean Malto, who had been out of action for over 2 years following a freak ankle injury back in 2014. While he recently announced he was coming back to full fitness and filming a "comeback" part, his impressive performance in this event was definitely a major step forward. Louie Lopez continued his hot streak with a 2nd place finish, ahead of more seasoned skaters in Ryan Decenzo and Cody McEntire.
