While hydrofoiling hasn't been totally well-recieved in the surfing world – supposedly attracting sharks and kooks alike – it can't be denied that it looks pretty damn fun. Kai Lenny has been a hydrofoil advocate since just about day one, and he's now taking it to the open oceans, using nothing but the energy of the swell and his own movements to surf waves that literally aren't even there.
