Cyclone Marcia devastated parts of Northern Australia over the last week, but what it brought to Southern Queensland was a lot more welcome. While the Gold Coast only caught the very edge of a weakening storm, the cyclone dragged along some of the most impeccable surf conditions the area has seen in years. Pefectly barrelling sets lined up all day without rest, and with a number of pros in town for the upcoming Quiksilver Pro, it was high fives and smiles all-round.
