Who would have ever thought that this simple accessory would become a business opportunity for many.

i have a nice dark green fleece neck warmer!  for me it has mad steeze, my girlfriend isn’t so sure….but seriously those bandanas look dope as!  I’ve never owned one but i know what looks dope…...(yeah dark green fleecy neckwarmers!!!!)

haha fleece neckwarmers are the shiz raspberry I have a bright yellow one that I made myself (ok my MUM made it for me - ultimate steeze raspberry) that got lobbed with a fluoro orange beanie last year for night boarding, and the super cold days (was waay too hot when it got any sort of sunny though…)

for some reason I had the same problem with the different opinions of steeze of my girlfriend and I…wierd…:)

i find if i wear a bandana and its really cold my nose drips and it just gets wet and annoying.

I prefer just a fleece neck warner or if its super cold a full neopreme face mask.

I never wear one, but slowly, I’m beginning to think that I should rock one next season. Kind of looks good, and I sort of dig that “thug ” look. This is coming from one of the least fashionably dressed folks on the planet.

So is it just for fashion, or is there function thrown in there?

the function is a neck gator, and a face shield against the elements.
there are fleece lined bandanas that work well for that purpose. the fashion aspect has definitely taken this accessory and made a new market on it alone.

There is a topic on here about it with a couple pics and links to fresh designs.
I will try and find that topic for you.

That should help.

All this talk of banadanas made me go an buy an Airhole. New Aussie distributor at http://www.somethinginthewoods.com/. Same price as buying it from overseas and having it sent here.

They are better then regular thin bandanas. The fleece certainly helps with wind protection. I’m not convinced the airhole is much benefit as I don’t generally breathe out of my mouth, but does help vent a bit. Overall not as good as a nice thick fleece neck warmer, just looks better.

cant remember what brand mine is and im just too lazy to get up right now but i bought a fleece bandanna in Vail in January and its so much better than my ninja. Great for keeping the wind off your neck when your rocking a t-shirt on bluebird days (like today) and gives you just that little bit more to cover your nose on the cold and windy days (like yesterday).
