Canberra is now a international airport with direct flights to Changi.

This will open up a lot of options for traveller living in rural N.S.W. For me this allows me to avoid the Sydney dom - international airport change over or expensive parking costs or extra baggage costs when flying with REX (Limits 15kg). I am hoping that Canberra international airport will go 24 hours in the future. The flight in and out are over farmlands. This will final avoid added costs of overnight stays in Hotels for international travellers. Who thinks they will use the Canberra option now and how this will benefit them.
