WELCOME TO THE 2015 SNOWBOARDING PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

PRESENTED BY BOARDWORLD AND ROME SNOWBOARDS AUSTRALIA SUPPORTED BY TRANSFER SNOWBOARD MAGAZINE

There are three huge prize packs from Rome Snowboards up for grabs, and an incredible opportunity to receive one-on-one feedback and a work experience opportunity with Transfer Snowboard Magazine!

PRIZES:

WINNER: The winner will receive a snowboard, bindings, and boots of your choice (pending availability) from Rome Snowboards Australia. The winner will also win an incredible opportunity for one-on-one feedback on your portfolio from the season from a senior photographer at Transfer Snowboard Magazine. The winner will then be invited on a shoot with Transfer Snowboard Magazine to receive invaluable experience and mentoring the following season in Australia. To top it off, throw in a two-year subscription to Transfer Snowboard Magazine to keep your motivation going.

SECOND PLACE: Second place will receive a snowboard of your choice (pending availability) from Rome Snowboards Australia. The runner-up will also receive a one-year subscription to Transfer Snowboard Magazine.

THIRD PLACE: Third pace will receive bindings of your choice (pending availability) from Rome Snowboards Australia. Third place will also receive a one-year subscription to Transfer Snowboard Magazine.

RULES & GUIDELINES:

All photos must be shot during the 2015 Australian snow season. We will require the original digital images from the winners to prove this, so please keep the original files.

We are looking for photographers who post consistently into this thread over the course of the season. At the end of the season, we will be selecting your best photos for the season and submitting them to the judges. The judges will look at these photos collectively as a portfolio. This means if you only post three photos, we will only submit three photos to the judges, which will inherently reduce your chances of winning.

We are looking for photographers who demonstrate a high level of skill, consistency, variation in shots, and an eye for lighting and composition. This contest is all about quality over quantity, and variety over repetition. If you usually only shoot park photos, challenge yourself to step outside of your comfort zone. This will go a long way in impressing the judges!

HOW TO ENTER:

Upload your photos directly to this thread by clicking POST REPLY, then the Upload Image button as seen below. Our system will automatically paste the image code into the reply area.

Please give us some information about the photo: who is in the photo, where the photo was taken, and when the photo was taken.

If you want your full name credited, please include your full name with the above details. Please also feel free to supply your Instagram account.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Photos must be taken during the 2015 Australian snow season.

Prizes will only be sent to an Australian address. Prizes will be sent free of charge.

Winners must provide the original digital files if requested for proof of date taken.

A maximum of three entries, per photographer, per day. You may enter three photos every day.

By entering this contest you give permission for Boardworld and Rome Snowboards Australia to post your photos on Facebook and Instagram.
The contest will run from now until the end of the season (date to be announced).

You can enter photos taken since the start of this season.

All prize winners will be selected by a panel of judges representing Boardworld, Rome Snowboards Australia, and Transfer Snowboard Magazine.
