United States working visa

I am currently on a holiday in the US and decided to do a drop in interview at a ski resort for a lift operator position.

I was successful in getting the job if I can get a permit to work in the US.

I am returning to Australia before the coming winter.

How long is the waiting time to get the visa? Is it too late?

Thank in advance

Not sure about the USA, but for Canada you get the visa within about six weeks from application.

You should call the USA Embassy in Australia as soon as you get the chance. They should be able to tell you all the details.

Here are some resources for you…

Let me know what you find out.
