I remember when the biggest decks we would sell were 7.75 or 8.0 max. These days 8.0 is about the smallest you sell. I’ve noticed that probably over the past 10 years.

When I first jumped back on a board, I’m pretty sure it was a 7.5. Felt like a pencil coming from a snowboard LOL

My first proper deck was a 7.25 (Omni deck).

My first proper deck was a 7.5 blank from SDS Bondi Junction. That was when they cared. 8” definitely is a comfortable size to skate but I am tempted to go back up in size again. Just feels good under foot.
