Hey Jeremy, what would be your stance on a for sale classifieds section for Boardworld? Say if I had a board/bindings setup I would want to sell.

It’s a tough one… we’ve been asked this before. One of the main goals of Boardworld is to help our industry, and I don’t believe there is much positive for the industry in regards to selling online. I know other websites allow this, but we have very strong ties to the industry here. I won’t put a classifieds section on Boardworld unless I get approval from all the snowboard stores around Australia. I am currently in the process of talking to the store managers and owners about this issue. If it ever did go ahead, there would be guidelines as to what you can sell (i.e. only used equipment). That said, my main concern is protecting the stores and I would not go ahead with this unless they give me the green light. I will definitely keep you posted.
