One thing I would love is to see for the forum is each members location on the mini profile to the left of this message.

Location under the screen name was part of the original plan. I’ll look into this again.

Is Boardworld using a custom software for its forum? Most of the software forum packages (eg VB, phpBB, punbb) come with this standard, if so it could just be missing the tag with-in the template.
