I smelled my boots today.

Avatar

I think I am fortunate in that my feet do not sweat much and thus I don’t really suffer from foot odour.  After each day of riding I always ensure my boots are dried in front of the heater, fire, etc. I also store them in dry area with little variations in temperature

with this approach, current boots have had 50+ days of riding and smell fine.

BTW without being fussy, the correct grammar should be “I SMELT my boots” - ahh the youth of today have such poor language skills wink

Actually, it’s “smelled” if you’re a Yank, “smelt” if you’re speaking the Queen’s English.
