Qantas to resume Melbourne-Tokyo (Narita) as Jetstar withdraws from route

Well this is good news!

Qantas are bringing back the daily direct MEL-NRT route with Jetstar to withdraw from that service after Feb 25.

I booked my Japan flights last night and was surprised to see Qantas offering the direct flights for $850 return pp.

Apparently anybody booked on Jetstar after Feb 25 will be re-booked on Qantas.
