Anyone see the Grashopper’s September predictions?  Given the warmer-than-average conditions expected, he predicts the snowfields will lose about 25cm per week.

The Hero Pass is back for 2014!

The only two resort season pass in Australia

The two resorts of Falls Creek and Hotham in Victoria are pleased to announce they will again offer the heavily discounted Hero Pass for 2014, the only multi-resort season pass offered in this country.
The 2014 Hero Pass, valid at both Falls Creek and Hotham all season long, is for sale until Thursday 10 October 2013 for $749 for adults and $429 for children.

“In its second year, the Hero Pass was incredibly popular with our guests looking for the best value season pass product around and we are excited to offer this again for 2014,” said Francis Jackson, GM Falls Creek.

Hero Pass holders can ski and board at both resorts on unlimited days for Winter 2014, giving more value each time the pass holder skis or rides throughout the season.

“This season pass gives you access to 775 hectares of terrain at Hotham and Falls Creek. You only need to ski or ride for 7 days, then you are ahead,” said Belinda Trembath, GM Hotham Skiing Company.

To secure your Hero Pass for season 2014, you only need to pay a deposit of $199 for adults and $99 for children by 5pm Thursday 10 October 2013. The balance is due on or before 16 April 2014.

Hero Passes for Season 2014 can be purchased online from 1 September 2013 at the below website or on the resort eStores – http://www.hotham.com.au/estore and www.skifalls.com.au/estore before 5pm on Thursday 10 October 2013.

It’s not just about season 2014 either. As well as unlimited riding at Hotham and Falls Creek, a range of additional benefits will again be available to Hero Pass holders at Merlin Entertainments Group attractions around Australia (including SEA LIFE Melbourne and Sydney Aquariums), and deals at local businesses such as Brown Brothers and Bright Brewery. To be eligible for Summer benefits, the balance of the Hero Pass must be paid in full by 5pm Monday 16 December 2013.

For details and full conditions about this 2014 Season Pass please visit http://www.heropass.com.au

what a shame Hotham isn’t following the lead of the NSW resorts and allowing you to ride for the rest of this season on next season’s pass.

Wasn’t there something with the original hero passes about a price lock in?

what do you mean, Tobi?  Last year I think you got a $50 discount if you were already a Hero pass holder just renewing.
