Awesome country, easy to get to, no jet lag, and a lot of deep and light powder. It’s a winning combination for the Aussies.

awesome dry pow, great beer and onsens when you get off the mountain! happo even has a McD’s at mid station!

Traditional Japanese bath.

Scrub scrub scrub yourself clean in the little shower room first, then jump in a super hot pool of water in the nooood. With others. If you wear boardshorts, you’re disrespectful smile

One winter I worked at Snowshoe, WV I spent many 2 and 3 days there at a time (usually weekends only) and as an employee I had access to the pools etc. I would hit the hot tub after riding, even watch the sunset from the hottub which was outside, but covered and only partly enclosed….
Being in the pools while it was outside snowing was so cool.
