so me and my buddy are planning on driving a motorhome down to Perisher from Sydney as accommodation is way to expensive… can u just park in the carpark and sleep..?

Not in the Perisher Carpark you can’t as there is no overnight parking there. Best places would be sawpit creek or pay $30/night for an unpowered site at the caravan park in Jindy which will give you access to a hot shower and cooking facilities. Cheers
