Nikwax products don’t contain the nasty things like fluorocarbons and other bad chemicals that other DWR products contain. Their products are water-based, non-aerosol, non-flammable, non-hazardous, biodegradable and environmentally friendly! The other handy thing is, there is no tumble drying necessary, unlike most other DWR products which save energy and carbon emission!
