Advice from Boardworld members…

I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. Thanks in advance guys, I really don’t have anyone else to turn to.

Even though I’ve given her everything, I’ve suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been cheating on me, and I don’t know what to do about it. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out ‘with the girls’ a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always “Just some friends from work, you don’t know them”.

I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the street although I can hear a car taking off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? I recently picked her mobile up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and got very upset that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with her. I think deep down I just didn’t want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide behind my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was while crouched behind my ‘72 MK1 Escort that I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch, up near the window, just a little bit of rust.

Should I take it into a body panel beaters or should I buy some stuff from the local auto shop and try to repair it myself. I’m really worried it might get worse if I leave it.

Any tips sure would be appreciated!

panel beaters job for sure mate ......  if you do it yourself you might not have the right tools…....geez its a good thing your girlfriend was cheating on you otherwise you would not have noticed the car issues!!

Haha you had me there Tills…

When I started reading, I was like, ahhh poor Tills, that sucks. I started thinking of what advice I could give you, what I should say to make you feel better etc…

As I got to the word ‘rust’, I was like, ahhh I see what’s going on here. You’re an idiot Jeremy…

Then the last line made me laugh and I was relieved I didn’t have to give you real advice.

Nice.

size, body shape, age, colour etc, to give precise advice on the best way forward

maybe even taking her for a test or getting a few of us to have a look
