Where to work and ride in Hokkaido, Japan

Has anyone done a winter season up in Hokkaido?  Which would be the best resort to work at/ ride?

Niseko would be the most popular. Furano would be another one to look at. I think there are a lot of smaller/quieter, fairly unknown resorts in Hokkaido with fresh lines all day. I can’t comment on personal experience as I have only been to Hakuba in Japan. I’m sure a few people on here will have some good info for you.

Not to be “that guy” but I rode Furano back in the days when it was uncommon to see another Westerner on the tram at all. Obviously it’s not like that now.
