Detuning

Hey got a couple of new boards coming should I be detuning the tip and tail?? Never really worried about it before

Which boards did you purchase?

Probably not necessary. Most boards come factory tuned these days, and with various rocker profiles the contacts points are often lifted off the snow anyway, and it’s also personal preference (if you’re riding a lot of rails etc. you might want to detune the edge). Detuning used to be more important when practically all boards were full camber and they were rarely factory tuned.

To summarise, you probably don’t need to do anything.
