The new Ford Territory add.

Avatar

The beach scenes were shot at my local, just below my daughters school.
The shots of the girls getting changed out of wetsuits. It’s very close to where I park when I sleep there in my Territory!!!

Next thing you know they’ll use my car space in Thredbo!

Haha mad, nice lookin beach
When did you buy a Territory?

Avatar

I inherited it when my68vw went in for repairs 2 year ago.

It’s a 2004 model, the very first Ghia in the country, we had it on the road before a single dealer had one in the showroom.
At close to 10yo it has a few scares and the leather is deteriorating, a few paint chips/fades. It is the best handling big car I’ve ever driven. Would rather a turbo diesel - it guzzles fuel.

got married in that surf club! (was sposed to be outside on the whale watching platform at the school, but it rained).

I just finished building a paper mache model that included the Whale watching platform.
oops, I mean “MY DAUGHTER just finished….” I don’t think I qualify to pass 4th grade.

They are currently putting an huge extension to the surf club on the school side, so they can house 4 clubby row boats.
Knocked down the temp lifeguard hut in the middle of the beach and are building a new one.
The school has a new 6’ fence around it and have 3 new buildings. There’s been a heap of trees removed from the camping area.

Cords, you might not recognise the beach anymore.
I’ll try to take some photo’s to show you.

Anyone own one of these whips??

Im looking at selling my commodore wagon for an 06/07 territory. From what I’ve researched so far they seem like good reliable cars with all the creature comforts. Good for taking down the odd dirt road or to the snow! Roomy as hell which is a big thing for surf/snow trips!

We had the US equiv in Jan - and loved it!

A friend of mine has maybe a 2012 and loves it.

Oh sweet kim!! Ive been doing some pretty heavy research on it and it looks the goods for lots of surf and snow trips. Its a little heavy on fuel but not much more than my commodore that i have now.

Hopefully ill have in the coming couple of months!

How much you wanna spend Surferguy?  Probably quite a few other choices out there better than a Territory, a couple of mates have had them that sucked near on 20l/100km which is ridiculous.  My old 6L SS ute went nowehere near that even in city driving.

Any reason you wouldn’t go a Subaru?

Or go Pimping ha ha

This one looks ok except i suspect the clock may have been wound back as it’s 60,000kms less than all the other comparable cars in the price bracket.
