JP wanted to switch things up a bit with the flex and feel of his board this year. After testing many camber and reverse camber boards he chose to go with an ideal camber for his riding style, which is Zero Camber. We also added Kevlar re-enforcements to the core. The Kevlar re-enforcements prevent the board from “noodling out” on high impact landings and high speed turns and is still fexible of 5-0’s or presses. The core consists of tip to tail Poplar and Beech wood. This is a high end pro model board with Triaxial glass and a speedy structurn base. Stepchild Simon Chamberlain
The Simon board has always been one of our most popular boards in the line. Simon chose to stay with a regular camber board and ad the Kevlar re-enforcements to the core profile. “The Kevlar seems to give the board a steadier flex and it doesn’t doodle out on presses”. The Simon Pro model is a twin flex and twin shape with a slightly longer nose to keep it above the snow on those pow days. It is a directional twin with a tip to tail poplar and beech wood core.
