hmm only just found this thread, thanks for bumping it back up snownut. Some interesting comments regarding glucosamine, may actually look into it since majority of my boarding injuries are cartilage related so may be a good help with me.
If you really have to take multi vitamins because you cannot get them from raw fruits and veggies, then do liquid vitamins as the body can assimilate a lot better. Also check out the raw vitamins from Garden Of Life. You can find them on Amazon. But I became a fruitarian/vegetarian about six months ago and it changed my life. I was getting really sick and since I made the switch, I am all good. Any processed crap in those vitamins and you are barely getting what they say you are. Google the 80/10/10 diet and also check out 30bananasaday.com and it will hook you up with proper nutrition
Meat is good, tofu and other assorted soy products that vegetarians use as substitutes for the sustenance meat provides is not what it is cracked up to be, have a squiz on the internet about some of the issues related to soy, I will never touch the stuff if I can avoid it. As far I'm concerned there isn't much of a better meal than marinated roo steak and steamed veges! have that once a day an I doubt you will need multi vitamins!
BTW eating 30 bananas a day sounds like a great way to gain weight and lose muscle.
