Stoked that I'm giving my notice at work this friday, just organised with my 2nd level manager to book a time on friday for it to make it all official etc. What makes it even better is that she's stoked for me to head back over there so it's all gravy

Giving 2 months notice so that they've got plenty of time to bring in someone else so leaving on really good terms which is a huge bonus.

Stoked we punished the opposition at gridiron yesterday, 49-6!

Not so stoked at the rain and how drenched we all were, OMG! I swear we weighed an extra 10kg from holding water!

Were you at one of the three snow resorts in Victoria yesterday? Sounds like it, although, cannot remember any gridiron fields at these mountains.

Nah it bucketed in Canberra all day long. I haven't seen that much rain in a long time. I was wearing my snow jacket and pants and I still got drenched. My jacket was wet all the way through, which in turn made my jumper drenched and my tshirt. My pants did ok, but water eventually started getting in the zippers and running down my leg!

All my friends backed out, but I'm still going.
They open at noon, so I'll be there soon after.

I'm hoping to learn a few things while there. I always say that, but then end up just taking a mellow day and saying to myself "I dont HAVE to" That is why I want a friend to go with me, to push me. I guess I do learn more each time I go. LAst time I got way more comfortable with the quarter pipe and got more air on it. I kept pushing off and not up, though. I wish I had someone to film me.

If I can get some pics, I'll share.

stoked I turned up to school today & the deputy principal says "now you've only got 4 periods so far (out of 8!) and a playground duty, but that may change" but that nothing more has come up - so I get to sit here browsing the net & getting paid well to do it!
