Images from a ride with Ian at Perisher. He has sick style and rips on rails and boxes.

It's started snowing at Perisher again. Blizzard style conditions which isn't fun for shooting. As I write this, all my equipment is spread out on my bed drying out for tomorrow. It doesn't matter where you hide when it's time to open your bag for a different lens etc. The snow finds a way in.... confused
Here's two images from today. The first image was shot during a break in the weather. Unfortunately the weather didn't clear again and the second image was shot during some real windy/snowy nasty-ness. This is evident by the snow on the branches in the second shot.

It's the Tilopa by f-stop gear in the States. It was one of those days where the snow was that really fine stuff that swirls around everywhere and manages to stick like snot to everything. All good tho, my gear is dry and I shot all day with it today without issue. Going back tomorrow to hopefully re-shoot the tree jib in the sun....Fingers crossed for a blue-bird day.
The following shots were taken recently at Perisher.

Hey Gamblor, I got onto f-stop Gear when I saw an image of one of their packs on the net. I sent them an email and they hooked me up with some gear. It's the most comfortable pack I've owned and I previously had the Burton Focus pack - 26litre. I've been informed that the Tilopa is also Airline carry-on compatible........I'll let you know how that goes when I go to Japan after the season. I have not seen anyone else in Oz with one yet, not that it means there isn't any here. I am real happy with my one and the Tilopa has more than enough room for all my gear....although the Satori looked sweet too, I couldn't justify the extra room it has for my needs.

the Tilopa IS airline carryon compatible.
Have you seen the new black Loka?

I think I will get that one. It's smaller than the tilopa. I might just get both. The satori is massive though, if you need to do a multiple-day trip
