So I just broke my blank 8.5, any suggestions on what to get next? I have a few more blanks but they only last a few months a piece.

If you go up deck size you will be needing to look at going up truck size as well. 149 Indy’s are the right size. Obviously your trucks are still new so wouldn’t bother just yet.

Well the Manton SAF series that are coming out look like they are going to be pretty gnarly for strength. They are an Aussie company, are you based in OZ?
Other than that have a look at some of the Fibreprime decks from Watson (Toy machine/Foundation). I don’t know of they are still doing them but Habitat had some Bamboo top sheet decks which helped with pop and strength as well as a Hemp deck. Also check out Bamboo SK8.

I might try the bamboo sk8. They offered me a minimal sponsor thing.

I’ve broken two blank boards on two days

Is it beneficial to go up in deck size?

From what I’ve been told, its all personal preference. Smaller boards are easier to manipulate, but harder to land on.

Is size 8 considered standard?
