^Same here (I've stopped going into Athlete's Foot because I'm sick of being hassled), also because if I'm about to hand over my hard earned cash (lots of it if it's a snowboard shop:( ) you can rest assure I've researched it to death.

The only time I want to talk to a salesman is when it's deal time... but that's just me smile

Does anyone know of a gear shop at Falls that has a website?

Tossing up whether to buy boots here in Perth, or get some on the mountain at falls. Would like to be able to check out the prices before going up.

Cheers,

They do have a shop, but like all resorts in Aus, I don't think that ya will get the range that ya need to get sorted properly, anti!!!!!

Are ya spendin a night or two in Melbs???? Better off sourcin somethin from there for sure!!!!!

*Ask the Mexican crew by startin a thread!!!!! Balistyxs will be the #1 choice for down there though!!!!! (I think!!!!!)

That's as close as I can get you: http://www.fallscreek.com.au/TheBoardLounge

Decent range, most of the big brands.

As above, recommend you visit the shops in melb first. That way you're not forced into making a decision on the hill.

Cool thanks for the info guys.

I'm heading straight up on the bus the morning I fly in, so I'll probably just buy here in Perth. There's only one.. that's right one chain in Perth that carries snowboarding gear, but I guess that's hardly surpising given our lack of snow... smile

Kinda surpised that they wouldn't have a better setup on mountain... Boardlounge could be ok, but don't want to take any chances without checkin them out online first.

Thanks again :D

You could always ring them and ask what range they carry???

I haven't been to Falls yet, but places like Thredbo and Perisher have a very small range as compared to Jindy!!!! And I'm only guessin that it would be no diff in Mexico either!!!!

If ya can get a pair that fit right at ya local, then its best that ya don't take the risk!!!!

Let us know what ya end up with, anti!!!!

just an update for Pacific Prizm, they've moved their store from the corner of dumaresq and queen street and macarthur square and are now at 1/10 Blaxland Rd Campbelltown NSW 2560. Phone number has remained the same.

Their new store is sick as. Too bad they didn't let me manage their website as it's pretty average... lol. No prices, bad pictures and rarely updated. :(
