Hey guys, I'm looking at buying myself my first full set up. I've only got 2 seasons under my belt and all on old borrowed gear.
I like to ride fairly quick and love getting some distance on my jumps. Of course I love to spend a little time in the park too, I'm getting pretty comfy with the jumps now and would like to start some rotations.
I'm about 5 10 in height.
Can you give me some advice on the right gear for me. Is there a set up that will last me a while cause I'm poor like most people.

Cheers Phil

Hey Phil,

How much do you weigh? What size boots? Where will you be riding (i.e. plan to go overseas)? What is your budget?

hey just after some help with the tuning of the angles of my bindings? im 180 cm tall, weigh 78kg, i ride a 158cm Burton Custom and i wear size 10.5 boots. And my stance is natural.
i know its probably a very tough question but id love to get my stance a bit better so i can improve my control and turning of my board! I surf heaps and i get the importance of bending my knees but not sure how to make myself bend through my setup.
Any help wud be awesome
cheers lachie

Hey lachiejm,

Start a new topic for this. When you are in the setup and tuning area, click 'New Topic'. Repost it as your own topic and I'm sure we can help you.

isn`t this the "setup and tuning area"..?

Edit..Oh , I see what you did there....nevermind..
When Lachie starts his own thread I will ask him what angles he is currently using..?

and for Phil I will ask..What sort of borrowed gear were you on previously and did you like any of it?

Yes, what did you like or not like about it? info like that always helps with offering suggestions on where to go from here.

Looks like someone needs to make a list of questions that need to be covered in order for us to give advice on here.
I know what it's like wanting to and enjoying to give advice, but you get the same question over and over, like "What board is the best" and other questions that just cant be answered with out more info.

I will make a new topic about it and start listing what you think is needed to answer questions about what board a person should buy next...

EDIT: I listed this under 'equipment and products'
