The day has finally come - I'm heading up to Whistler this afternoon!
I arrived in Van last night to watch the sun set over the snowcapped mountains (guessing cypress and grouse?) from the airport...aaagh so beautiful!! I'm in Van today getting things organised (phone, NEW BOARD - woop!) and will bus up to whis this afternoon. I'm heading to Merlin's for a few beers tonight, so come and say hi if you're free. I'll post my mob number on here as soon as I get one!
Can't wait to get out there.

Hey jacs, I thought I replied to you earlier but looks like I didn't submit properly. How awesome was that sunset. We were in Vancouver as well (for the hockey last night) and we got to watch the sunset from Stanley Park by the water. It was just incredible. I got a few photos which I will post up tomorrow. You must be so stoked to finally be here. Catch up with you soon no doubt! What board did you get?
Finney, that trip report looks epic. I'm going to read it tomorrow when I have a bit more time.
I have two days of blog posting to catch up on tomorrow. Had a fun night out with Michelle, Finney, Mizu, and Leanne tonight.

Awesome photo. Do you have a larger version? I'd love to see it.
Had a really fun day riding with Mizu, Mrs Mizu, Skip, and a couple of Skip's friends. We spent most of our time on Blackcomb followed by a top to bottom on Whistler. I have three days worth of blogging to catch up on tomorrow. I think I might take the day off to avoid lift lines and catch up on a bunch of work and other stuff.

Oh yeah And thanks guys.
Its not super high quality.. I shoot an older camera body these days.
But good news! I have ordered a new camera body and i still own fotosource lotssss of mulaaaa. |

Whistler is huuuge! Having done a season in Big White last year, Whistler seems soo big and it seems like it takes forever to get around! But I guess that just means there's so much awesome terrain to explore!
If anyone can help out at all, I'm now on the hunt for a room. I'd prefer my own bedroom, but would be happy to share if that's all I can find. I'll take something short term and then look for something longer-term once I'm in. Please let me know if you here of anything or have any advice about finding something. I have been looking at pique online and craig's list.
Any help would be hugely appreciated:)

If it makes you feel any better, Mizu sprayed me in the face while I was filming. My goggles were off, jacket open, vents open, gloves off, and video camera out. He smashed me. I guess that's karma.
