Yeah generally speaking it's better to buy up the price bracket to a certain range (after a point differences become relatively small and exponentially expensive)

Glad I could help, Where do you live? Im thinking about starting a photography walk about group here in sydney. Something where we would go out once a month and pick a new location and a topic and just go shooting. All calabers of photographers would be welcome.

Oh and if you want a really sweet little point a shoot with amazing features and reviews I have been hearing alot about the canon G9 and G10. It is suppose to be one of the best little cams and it takes RAW file pictures to.

I live in the yarra valley in victoria. Your walk idea sounds good. I'm sure it would attract a good crowd especially as sunrise/sunset opportunities. Thanks for the tip on the canons.
