Hey guys I’m chasing my first board after renting boards for two years. I’ve had my eye on the Jones Explorer or Mountain Twin as I’ve got a Japan trip booked and plan on Canada after that. However all my experience has been Aus and NZ. From what I’ve read they’re good all mountain boards that handle powder well. I’m leaning towards explorer more however I do like a twin style board as that’s all I know. Hence my indecision between the two. I don’t ride switch often and my style has been a combo of groomed runs and off piste.
The next thing is I’ve always ridden 158W but will that be big enough in powder for my size? I’m 189cm and weigh about 80-82kg.
