Hey guys not sure if its been posted about before, however im staying here on the 11th til 14th of august, was wondering has anyone stayed here before and what they thought of it.
Im liking the look of it as they have the Obese winter Block party on while im there with the likes of Illy, M-Phazes (Dj set), Spit Syndicate, Dialectrix, Thundamentals Reason & Skryptcha

The deal i got was for myself the girlfriend and my brother was $609 each for three nights breakfest daily one dinner pass and ski lift tickets.

It's ok. They advertise like they are cheap as chips but really its an average price.

Points to watch out for:
1. Lack of heating - Bring cold weather gear for indoors. You don't want to wear your snow gear 24/7 lol. They have heaters, they just aren't great
2. Don't plan to go to Jindy for a night out, it is a good 10-15 min drive back to town so someone has to be dessy driver. Though you have a concert there so the Station Bar will be pretty full smile
3. Don't hire gear from there. If you can fit it in your car, grab it at Rhythm in Cooma as it gives you decent gear and good prices. If you can, get Ex Demo gear for renters as they will be much better than the cheap rentals at only a slightly higher cost.
4. The food is pretty shit. Bring snacks for your room and hope the cook is better this year than when I stayed there lol. Breakfast finishes at like 8:30 so get in early. (+ You can leave for the mountain earlier).

Its like 15 min walk, not long in the car. watch out for road kill. I stayed there last year for a week, its warm in the six person cabins, plenty of room and as far as the party scene goes you will have a ball

the breakfast is pretty rubbish

accommodation is pretty plain but all you require
beds/toilet/bathroom was clean

all you need really
heating in our room was meh but bearable
our mates room was boiling for some reason

the rate we got was 220 bucks for 2 nights sleeps 6 (no meals no lift tickets...ive got the myride club)
so basically cheaper than your local F1 motel

catch is you have to buy perisher lift tickets
they do random lift ticket checks though we didn't get checked

Also sooo cheap. Get the woolies 10pack for $2.17 and eat that for a week and you can afford a day boarding.

Seriously, if lunch and dinner = 1 pack of noodles rather than $10 for Macca's/Subway/Cooking nice food.

Thats $100 for 5 days. - $2.17 = $97.83 saved!

Though you will feel like shit for the whole week. It is wise to have a decent meal every 2nd night while doing this to keep you sane and healthy! And good breakfasts like a whole bowl of cereal.

mi goreng can also be incorporated into other meals! Sorry this is off topic but I have to go with it.

Last year before heading to thredbo for the weekend, I cooked up about 6 packets of migoreng, some small pieces of fried chicken breast and some bits of salad...whack it in a tupperware container and its costs practically nothing and can do you & someone else for lunches on both days of the weekend! You can eat it cold and its still delicious...Just a tip - add some olive oil in and stir it around so it doesn't get too dry and stick together...

Also Take a $3 three litre no frills juice and a couple of cups and you're sweet for drinks! I also keep some Mini milky ways or mars bars in my pocket and you can ride for heaps longer without having to stop when you can nibble on a couple of those while you're going back up the lift/t-bar.

mi goreng is never off topic dont worry.

when i was in the army i went to timor leste in 2006, while i was on a patrol over there we walked into this village and they were preparing dinner. there dinner was at least thirty packets of mi goreng and two whole chickens in this huge huge pot simmering away over a fire. this is when i fell in love with mi goreng
