Hey I noticed we havent had one forward stance yet!! And we still dont... Mines 15, -6 but I want to mess around with some forward and more ducked out stances (although the thought of a forward stance just feels wrong!). Bindings are as wide as they go (I'm 6 foot 4 and board is 163 and not quite classed as 'wide'), mainly to avoid any toe and heel drag. Although with size 11.5 shoes I had no drag at all last time so might try centering the binding width, see how the turns feel...
For a board with a setback has anyone tried putting the front bindings wide and the back centre, it would bring my feet width closer and although it wouldnt necessarily be set up as the board is designed it would be centred nose to tail?

i rode a directional backwards for 3 or 4 runs once, setup for someone who rides goofy... forward stance would suck for longs periods,,,

When i got my first board, a directional salomon deck, i used to ride 18 and -3. When i got my uninc i went 15 -7 or -10 now on my new uninc with the channel im currently at 12 and -12 probably go 15 and -15 next trip.... oh yeah width is generally the reference for the 56 uninc with both bindings set back one setting back although last year in spring i tried it pretty wide and found it too uncomfortable for extended periods of riding. Got great presses though!

+15 -12 24wide
although this is due for a long rethink as i think the -12 is too much for me when i dont ride switch often enough.
maybe +12 - 9 for next weeks trip....

That is the way to do it Benno, keep switching things around until you find something you are comfortable with.
