Hi All

Glad everyone is getting excited about the coming winter. The news is calling for a really cold winter so getting pretty hungry to snowboard right now.

We still have some places left with 24-7snow.com and we have a deal on right now whereas if you book up for the season we are offering a really cheap pre season price for renting September and October. If you have any questions about the house or Whistler you can get a hold of me via the aforementioned website or message me here.

cheers

Will

I think my best bet is going to be finding a place that people are already in unless I find some people who are looking for one other person. I did find a good 2 bedroom place (queen in one and double in the other) with a den which is between whistler and blackcomb on blackcomb way for $1600/month.

Just re-read the thread Mike, how does the place you mention above stack up to Lost Lake? Seems cheaper. Guessing maybe all the perks don't come with it though?

Yeah not too sure Dan, can't say I've been there before. I mean it is closer to the village thats for sure but as you said may not have the perks of a hot tub, gym etc. Would also need to double check that it's got a laundry aswell as we want to have that readily available.

Hey guys,
me and my fiancee are going to spend a year or 2 in whistler. We have a hotel booked for the first 10 days but will be looking to share somewhere to stay for the season. We will be arriving into whistler on the 4th of november so if anyone is looking to get a house together we would be really keen.

hmm that bumps it up to 7 people on here now looking for a place to live..

dan83 + 1
rah + mate
danielg + fiancee
me

hmm.. Do we want to enquire about the 5/6 BR place that rider had in 08/09 - ~$25k for 6 months split 7 ways thats ~$600 month per person..

If we act quickly we may be able to grab it, but could have left our run for it a bit late, otherwise having so many people I'm sure we could contact a real estate agent and they'll have some options for us.

I may have another couple of guys interested as well. Let us know how you go Mike!

I'll just continue looking around to see if there is anything else around.

I've shot an email through so we'll see how that goes. She may also know of some other properties if that one has been taken.

Will keep you all updated as soon as I get a reply.

Rightio, looks like everyone is in.

Think I've got everyone on the email list now so we'll take it from there, bit easier to organise than multiple PM's on here grin

Once again, boardworld delivers the goods.
