Have been surfing since I was 6, spent a month on the north shore in Hawaii a few years ago and done a 14 day boat trip to the Mentawaii’s and then the next year a 20 day trip to North Sumatra, if you surf and have a career, I cannot recommend a north sumatra boat trip enough, better waves than the Ment’s and way less crew, as least that was the case in 2005. 

Considering a trip to Japan next year, get a bit of culture shockas well as some good snow although this may change as my gf’s family is from Poland and we may do Europe and end up in Austria.
